Saucy Links & Kaboom Underground!

Good evening!

**This post has been edited to reflect the change in David's Facebook/Shoppe name from Saucy Links to The Dragon's Hoard, which more accurately describes his creations and designs.**

Thank you to all of the new people that stopped by our booth today at the awesome Kaboom Trick or Treat on Main Street in downtown Garner, NC!

This was our second time participating in a Kaboom Underground event and we love meeting all of the new people.  It is an amazing venue with so many talented artists and performers.

It is typically held on the second Sunday of the month and we will be at the November 8th event, so come out and join us!  Be sure to check my Events link at the top of the page to see where you can visit us in person!

For those of you that are looking for my boyfriend's amazing chainmaille, you can find him below at his Facebook and Etsy shops:

Pagan Pride Day 2015!

What a wild and crazy summer!  After a whirlwind of events, the months have flown by and before we realized it: Pagan Pride Day was upon us once more!

What an amazing weekend!  I met new friends, saw many old friends and was brainstorming with wonderful people on what we should focus on next.  If you are visiting this page for the first time, welcome!  I am so grateful you stopped by my booth and had a chat with myself and Yarn Twisters.  If you are interested in Saucy Links chainmaille, you are also in the right place!

To keep in touch with all of the projects that we are working on, please visit my Facebook page: Bewitching Dreams!  Be sure to like a couple of posts, so that Facebook's algorithms will continue to show my posts to your timeline.  If you do not have a Facebook account, you can still view my work in progress pics there since it is a public page.

Without further ado, here are some pics from this weekend!

My raffle donation included an autumn wine goblet with basil, coleus and one of my brand new planter tentacles.  This one was black with rainbow suckers!

Work Table Wednesday

After the craziness of the holidays, I am trying to get back into a normal schedule of blogging.  My friend Star at ColtPixy.com had the great idea of restarting Work Table Wednesday with her blog and I am joining her in the process!

The first picture I'd like to share with you is my 3 Leaf Clover Itty Bitty Cthulhu.  He is nearly finished and only needs a base and some glaze to protect him from any glittery leprechauns!  There are several other Itty Bitty Cthulhus in progress, as you might notice from the background!

If you look carefully, as several friends and fans on my Facebook page did, you will see a suspiciously Vulcan Itty Bitty Cthulhu.  After hearing the news about Mr. Leonard Nimoy passing away on Friday, I immediately sat down and started working on a tribute Itty Bitty Cthulhu.  He will not be for sale.

He is the first Itty Bitty Cthulhu that I have made for myself.  He still needs a final round of curing, before getting a glaze and base of his own.  Star Trek has contributed a major influence on my life and Mr. Spock was one of my favorite characters.  Mr. Leonard Nimoy was an amazing actor and man, whom I enjoyed watching in many projects.  He will be missed.  LLAP.

Happy New Year!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and a delightful New Year!

It has been very busy over the last several weeks, but as things begin to calm down and the weather turns gloomy here...I am able to sit more and more at my craft table to focus.

One project that I had a great deal of fun creating were these racing pigeons:

During the holidays, two of my other creations found new homes!  My Itty Bitty Santa Cthulhu and my miniature Koi Pond both traveled to their new owners.  I am so thrilled that they arrived safely!

I am trying out a few new techniques, at the suggestion of my fellow polymer clay artists.  So far, I am liking the effects, but you will have to stay tuned to see what those changes will be!
